Our 5 Step Full Service Interior Decorating Process
The bonus of using imagemakers interior design decorating services is knowing that we have an interior design background.
1.“Meet & greet”
The process begins with a 10minute free consultation call with you, this gives you an idea on how we can assist you with your project. The next step we book you in for your initial -Design consultation, imagemakers will then email you our ‘client questionnaire’ to help us get to know you.
2.Our initial consultation
The interior design process starts with our initial consultation meeting to discuss the scope of your design project, your budget and time frame. This is where I come to your home and spend up to 75 minutes with you. We’ll walk through your home room by room so I can get an overall feel of the space, have your inspirational images and floor plans ready for me so we can sit down and discuss your gaols and the best Design Service suitable for your project.
Inital consultation fee: $325.00
3.Design Stage and concept drawings
After our first meeting, I’ll be able to provide you with our design fee proposal based on our first consultation, you can sign the agreement and pay the deposit, we can make our next consultation or if drawings are required, I can get started with these in 2D/3D computer design program and on occasions hand drawings
- Interior Decoration
This part of the interior decorating process is where imagemakers will create a mood board for you to make sure we are on the same page with your style. Then we will source items that we believe will work with your space, colour palette and style. This can take a couple weeks to complete. imagemakers takes into consideration how the style is going to complement not just one room but the adjacent areas, how will the furniture fit into the space to get the scale and proportion correct. We know what works together and can transform a room or a whole house to suit our clients’ needs and lifestyle. We love styling any room or the whole house with your new purchases to complement your existing furniture, creating a beautiful space to enjoy.

The Style part of the journey is the last and most exciting component of the entire interior decorating process. (Logically, items may arrive at different stages due to stock availability, trades, and deliveries, we ask for your understanding with this).Once the large furniture pieces are delivered and placed according to our concept drawings and documentation this is when Debra will come to your home and waves her magic, styling with the décor items, artwork, rugs etc. that have been specially sourced and adding some personal touches that tie the space together. Styling your home or just one room, you will be delighted with the gorgeous result, ready for you family and friends to enjoy. We will love it so much that photos will be taken for imagemakers interior design folio. A fee proposal will be submitted for this service.
