Our 5 step Full Service Design Process
cStep 1 “Meet & greet”
The process begins with a 10 minute free consultation call, this gives you an idea on how we can assist you with your project. The next step we book you in for your initial -Design consultation, imagemakers will then email you our ‘client questionnaire’ to help us get to know you.
Step 2 Our initial consultation meeting
The interior design process starts with our initial consultation meeting to discuss the scope of your design project, your budget and time frame. This is where I come to your home if it’s a renovation and spend up to 75 minutes with you. We’ll walk through your home room by room so I can get an overall feel of the space, have your inspirational images and floor plans ready for me so we can sit down and discuss your gaols and the best Design Service suitable for your project. If it’s a new build, then we spend this time in our design and selection studio.
Initial Consultation fee: $325.00
Step 3 Design & if needed concept drawings
After our first meeting, I’ll be able to provide you with our design fee proposal based on our first consultation, you can sign the agreement and pay the deposit, we then make our next consultation meeting or if drawings are required, I can get started with these in 2D/3D computer design program and on occasions organic hand drawings. Whether it is designing joinery or space planning we will take into consideration on practicality, functionality, and longevity for your home.
Step 4A. Complete house Specifying for new builds or a major renovations
imagemakers role is to create efficient, functional, comfortable, and gorgeous interior spaces that are fit for purpose of your lifestyle, by selecting and developing a gorgeous palette of colours and finishes with the clients in our design and selection studio, all internal paint colours & wall cladding, tiles, floor finishes, door furniture, joinery finishes & benchtops throughout. This includes 2 local suppliers showroom visits, this will be all documented in a user-friendly colour and finishes schedule with images, we will be showcasing all chosen products in a “loose lay format” and a petite sample board of products to take home. We allow 2 consultations meeting. We will also Select gorgeous Fixtures and Fittings ie: tapware, mirrors etc. that best suit your style and budget. If extra time is required, this will be brought to your full attention.
Step 4B. Bathroom or kitchen specifying or a combination of living spaces
imagemakers role is to create efficient, functional, comfortable and gorgeous interior spaces that are fit for purpose of your lifestyle by selecting and developing a gorgeous palette of colours and finishes with the clients in our design and selection studio, internal paint colours tiles, floor finishes, joinery finishes & benchtops This includes 1 local suppliers showroom visit, this will be all documented in a user-friendly colour and finishes schedule with images, we will be showcasing all chosen products in a “loose lay format” and a petite sample board of products to take home. We allow 1-2 consultations meeting. We will also Select gorgeous Fixtures and Fittings ie: tapware, mirrors etc. that best suit your style and budget. If extra time is required, this will be brought to your full attention.
Step 5. Completion
When completion is approaching, we highly recommend using our decorating services, this is such a fun part of your journey where we work together once again, and we can organize window furnishings, furniture, artwork, cushions etc. that work well with your existing pieces and style. This is the time when we put the finishing touches to your beautiful new home. A fee proposal will be submitted for this service
